We're OK and getting better each day Dear Jun but still struggling weather-wise. The Kids are always waiting for snowfall though.
We arrived Toronto safely 29/12/07. Just after 2 days my youngest Joyce got hired and last Thursday Marx and I started working in a Warehouse which is among the more established trading companies here. Maria and my eldest got appointment for job interview this Saturday at a leading supermarket chain here and later with a para- medical health centre at Yonge and Clark, Thornhill. Their schooling is being sorted out and on the 17th, we shall go to see the officer evaluating their previous school credentials. Then we would know whether they go college/University or still have to continue high school here. This Feb is the schools closing for the Sept intake/admission. I believe everything with us is just right on schedule and our Plan A is just fine and perfect as yet.
We have to tell you how good and bighearted Jack & Polly are to us. Calvin Lim is very helpful and Dr Michael is very friendly. We could feel we are indeed in good hands. Thanks a lot for these super nice bunch of Godly people. Our 2-wk accommodation agreement with Polly & Jack expires today and we have mutually agreed for a 3-mo extension so we have to finish our house move tomorrow (From upstairs to the Basement) but for a lower monthly rental rate. This morning, we have talked Polly & Jack into signing for a long term contract like one year and they seem to be positive about it though we have yet to receive their confirmation and hopefully the corresponding Lease Contract or Rental Agreement.
Thanks to you Jun - again and again. May you be showered with choicest blessings from God even more?
Happy 2008 too to your office team there. God bless your family as we look forward to meeting you here someday soon so we could try and start up that real estate or some other business.

Hello!
Time really flies. We are already in our 1st month here in Canada.
We have received so much blessings here...a kind family who has opened their home to us (the Barraza family)....some interviews, then job offers (got my 1st job after 15 days of being here, and now i will be starting on my 2nd job, now related to I.T., next week)..met new friends..toured some of their interesting spots :-)
Overall, it was an exciting adventure ! :-)

When I was first introduced to Jun Leung with regards to working overseas and applying for Permanent Resident (PR), I was quite skeptical about the possibility of getting a PR without a job. However, their sustained professionalism and their in-depth knowledge on migration issues won me over. I applied to Canada under the Skilled Worker Category through Jun Leung in Jan 2000.
With their help, I was able to secure my Visa within ten months without interview and I officially received my Visa in Nov 2000. When I did my initial landing n March 2001, my landing went on smoothly due to the help extended by Jun Leung. I lived in Toronto for a year from March 2002 to March 2003 and because I started a part time global business before I moved there, my first year in Canada was not only a breeze but wonderful because I was earning income from both Asia and Canada. I came back to Singapore in April 2004 to expand and strengthened my global business here in Asia, at the same time, went back into retraining to prepare for expansion into Toronto in 2005.
Currently, I am a member of a business training center known as Entrepreneurship Development Center, Singapore (EDC Singapore). EDC Singapore is expanding its wings to North America and Canada with the incorporation of L88 International Entrepreneurship Development Center, Inc in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
